Having been the victim of copyright theft on a number of occasions it is well worth listing a number of useful resources:

Free services:
Copyscape - The free Copyscape service makes it easy to find copies of your content on the Web. Simply type in the address of your web page, and Copyscape does the rest. Copyscape finds sites that have copied your content without permission, as well as those that have quoted you.

Banners - Defend your site with a plagiarism warning banner to warn potential plagiarists against stealing your content.

Professional services:
Copyscape Premium provides more powerful searching than the free service with no monthly limit. You may also search for copies of your offline content by copying and pasting the text.

Copysentry provides ongoing protection for your entire website, monitoring the web automatically and alerting you to new copies of your content.

Looking to create a curved corner box on your web page? Then this curvyCorners Dreamweaver extension will do it easily and with a minimum of effort.

CurvyCorners will create on-the-fly rounded corners for any HTML DIV element, that look as good as any graphically created corners. You can add fully anti-aliased rounded corners with support for borders and background images in seconds. No image editing required.

Download and install the extension from the zip file. In Design View, first select a Div tag that has an ID and/or a CLASS, which is most easily done using the Tag Selector Bar beneath the Design Window. Then access curvyCorners from the Insert Menu's valleywebdesigns submenu or on the Insert Bar's Goodies tab.

For best results set a radius of 20 for all corners and check the boxes for anti-alias and autopad and voila!

Note: Much as it grieves me to say this, this does not work in Mozilla Firefox - nor does the output...IE users read on...

Using a scrolling text box and want to customise your scrollbars to match your site?

Then there is a handy online colour scrollbar generator <a href="http://rainbow.arch.scriptmania.com/tools/scrollbar/colour_scrollbar_generator.html" target=_blank">here. which will build your Scrollbar Colour code for you and let you see the results.

Just use the drop downs to fill in the colours, copy the code and then paste in between the HEAD tags or in your stylesheet.

Here's some code for the scrolling textbox too:

Position your cursor where you want the scrolling box to be, add the following:

<div id="main" style="position:relative; top:20px; height:350px; overflow: auto; visibility: visible;">

Adjust the height and top parameters to suit, write your text and then add a closing DIV tag - </div>.

If you prefer to put the style info in your stylesheet then just put

<div id="main">

before your text and add this to the stylesheet:

#main {
position:relative;
top:20px;
height:350px;
overflow: auto;
visibility: visible;
}

Easy peasy!
