Bing v Google Pt II
The Catalyst Group have carried out a usability study to gather users' general impressions of the Google and Bing search engines, their willingness to continue to use one or the other, and the attention they paid to advertising space on the two sites.
While it was only a small study (12 users), the results are interesting.
In general, the design of Bing and results organisation and filtering options were preferred but not enough to persuade a move from the familiarity of Google for two-thirds of the group. Results relevance was equally rated. |
